will a hot northbridge cause graphics issues? I am having trouble with some graphics, but i have almost eliminated the video card. So, what about a hot NB? the graphics are fine for 20-30 minutes then i start getting strange transparent blue spots.
How have you eliminated the graphics card, by trying in another motherboard? Also I think it would be very rare for the NB to cause such problems, unless your are overclocking and undervolting it.
