ok this is what I got so far and this is what I still need to purchase:
mountain mods duality case
gigabyte dq6-x38t mb
2 150 gig raptors
ultra 1000 watt ps
x-fi fatality sc [against my better judgement}
ect...
still need cpu- thinking on Q9650 [am buying next week]
ram is my problem: corsair or ocz ? ddr3-1600 ? it is between these two I think!

this is my first build, I'm watercooling the cpu and vid card[vid card am waiting until new nvidia cards come out-feb I heard]
my question is the ocz has better timing but is it better ram, really do not want to water cool ram though I could but on same loop as cpu so the water by the time it gets to 4th stick would be so much hotter than 1st stick not sure what that would do?
corsair has always seemed like great product to me? have read some stuff with this motherboard that some people are having problems so would rather avoid them if possible. appreciate any advice you all can give.
ocz
corsair 2x2gig sticks
corsair 4x1gig sticks

A few things

1. What are you planning on using this computer for?
2. Right now a 1000 Watt PS is overkill. Even with heavy gaming and crossfire or SLI a 700 Watt is more than enough.
3. Are you planning on overclocking?
4. Right now DDR2 offers a better performance/price sweet spot than DDR3. I tend to like Corsair, Kingston and Patriot.
5. Watercooling on your first build is ambitious. Just tread extra carefully.
6. Why not wait until you're ready to purchase all the components at once? By the time February rolls around, you may decide to get different components.

Good luck

bought it at new egg for 80.00 bucks cheaper but easy unit to use, compression fittings , no leaks! using one for cpu and later if needed one for vid card! oh, and using this for gaming and am planning on overclocking to 3.8 on cpu for starters and the 249.00 ps is a great deal and right now that is what I have in current system, better to have too much then not enough!
