My current system is:

AMD Athlon 64 3500+
1Gb Ram
Enermax NoiseTaker 475W PS (EG475P)
EVGA 6800GT 256Mb AGP

I am looking to upgrade the video card to a ATI x1950 Pro AGP 512Mb. Most likely from Diamond as they are the only ones I can find who have inventory.

Will my system run this card? Is there a better option?

Thanks

I think it be a great edition if your planning on keeping that AGP rig for a longer while, your Athlon 3500+ has enough horsepower and life left in it to run that card and some modern games nicely

I would add another 1GB of memory if possible

yeah, you can get them, but how good is your psu, they use a bit more power than a 6800gt, but not all that much more

XA thanks. I plan to keep this mobo for probably about 2 more years. I think the psu is plenty strong enough given the 450w card requirement.

JVR where are you buying it from? I'm in the market for the same card and am about to buy it for 200. If you know of a better deal let me know.
