More about mobo
  1. Is it a socket 478 p4 or an lga 775 p4?
  2. For socket 775, the asrock 4core dual sata II for about $66 shipped (newegg) will give you a wide variety of memory and video choices and take a 1066 core2 duo or quad core later. It won't work with the newer penryns, and doesn't have onboard video. But for older components, it works pretty well.
