hi,
i have a sound card- audigy 4 pro & since i have it i play every game in 5.1, it's great.
i want to but a tv tunner card for media center.
so i need 2 PCI slots in the mobo.

most of the mobo's that enable dual VGA Cards have the PCI slots close to the PCIex16 or between them.
does a regular size PCI card can fit between the two VGA Cards?
or do i need a soft SLI/CF Bridge for that?

thanks guys!

p.s.
a PCIex1/x4 tv tunner is too expensive & where i live it's features cannot be used- Digital TV Recording & Stuff
coz the Cable/Sat companies don't let it. their disabling this feature in their tuners.

If a video card has a single-slot cooler, the slot that is right under the video card can be populated with another card. If the cooler is to big, a new card can't be fit in there.
If you are concerned about the hight of the new card, I guess you can only try to find a low profile one. (Does anyone you know have the tv tuner that you want to buy? If yes, try his/hers first.)

i thought about 8800GT 512 or 3870, both are single slot or have a single slot solution by one of the vendors.

this is not the problem.
the problem is the depth of the card, if my sound card can fit in between the VGA cards, under the SLI/CF Bridge.
