my sony handycam DCR-HC62E is not detected by my PC
i needed to transfer video recorded on tape to my laptop via USB.pls help. nath_dare@yahoo.com

Go into the device manager. Expand the universal serial bus controllers. Right click and uninstall all of the usb root hubs, then restart. They will reinstall on restart, and search for new hardware.
