Hi, the MB Gigabyte GA-945GCM-S2L supports memory up to DDR2 667.

Will Lemel/Veritech DDR2 800 memory work in this board and if it does, will the MB BIOS just underclock it to DDR2 667 at boot.

i can't really guarentee support but... chances are the motherboard will detect it and underclock it to the highest setting the board will support. in your case its ddr2 667 speeds.

so that means that only the memory will be added but the 800MHz will be lessen ito 667MHz?
