Hey guys im just very curious to know what are the differences between the Q9450 and the q6600??? which one of the cpus OC's better and just has a better performance... also i currentley have a e6600 oced to 3.0 ghz and i wanna know is it nessary to buy quad now or wait??? cause the newer games like crysis and bioshockand so forth i wanna run smoothly.. does dual cores like mines for example or the newer q6600 and the Q9450 perform the same in newer games? last question in these newer games do they use more GPU power or CPU????

Quads aren't necessary if it's just for gaming. Your cpu is plenty strong, it certainly wouldn't be a good idea to upgrade to an Q6600. Just wait. Wait for 1 more year.
However if you have the money to burn, the Q9450 isn't so bad.
