Hey guys im just very curious to know what are the differences between the Q9450 and the q6600??? which one of the cpus OC's better and just has a better performance... also i currentley have a e6600 oced to 3.0 ghz and i wanna know is it nessary to buy quad now or wait??? cause the newer games like crysis and bioshockand so forth i wanna run smoothly.. does dual cores like mines for example or the newer q6600 and the Q9450 perform the same in newer games? last question in these newer games do they use more GPU power or CPU????

Quads aren't necessary if it's just for gaming. Your cpu is plenty strong, it certainly wouldn't be a good idea to upgrade to an Q6600. Just wait. Wait for 1 more year.

However if you have the money to burn, the Q9450 isn't so bad.

Gaming difference with a OCed e6600 and a Q6600... youll find the e6600 will win at the moment...

I still have an e6600 in my gaming machine and ill make it tide me over till Nehalem, id suggest you do the same

Thanks for the benchmRKS GUYSit seems that the Q9450 kills the q6600.. but idk if i wANNA spend more $ for a quad when my e6600 is oc'ed to 3.0 ghz iwill problBY WaIT for cause my system is fast enough... and i dont even have vista yet so imma wait for NEW CPU.. idk wut u guys think????
