Uh...this the the CPU forum, but between the two...unless you really need DX10, I'd get the X1900XTX.

Yeah.
If the HD3850 is cheaper, I'd get that over either. Newegg has the HD3870s that are cheaper than the X1900XTX cards.

cant say im to worried about DrirectX 10,...i just want one of those video cards that can really hack at those needforspeed graphics (most wanted in particular) ,..does the the hd3500 have advantage over the x1900xtx,...some bench marks say so and some say no!

HD38xx has direct x 10.1 support... its cheaper...

I would think in high res and AA applications the x1900XTX will come out on top of the HD3850 but the HD3870 should really out score it. IMO id get either of the HD38xx series depending on budget.
