Can someone familiar with troubleshooting on an Hitachi HDTV (model
65TWX20B) help me locate a problem?. I'm stuck.

The unit is periodically flashing very briefly on all inputs (and the
OSD) after a warm up period of one hour or so. So the cause may be
heat induced.

I've replaced the rainforest chip (a likely cause per Hitachi) to no
avail. I have some specific questions regarding how best to isolate
the source of the problem.

Thanks much.

Les

? Flashing? More through description and diagnostics? Post results to
sci.electronics.repair, there are a lot of very good trechs who will asist
in your quest. Inclusive of having corroded pins at the CPTs and shorting
spark gaps at the CPT sockets, and/or the focus pack.
