I've been racking up the idiocy points over the past few days, but nevertheless...

I was installing RAM yesterday. I don't remember exactly, but I don't think I switched my power supply off while doing it. The computer itself was obviously off, but I don't know if I switched off the PSU itself. The RAM is running just fine for the moment, and has been for the past 24 hours, but is it possible any damage was done?

If it runs it's ok. As far as I know there's no power on the RAM slots when the computer is turned off (correct me if I'm wrong on thawt one).

I was looking in the mobo manual regarding dual channel RAM, and I happened to notice that it suggested you unplug the PSU and flip it off before installing RAM. A few sites on the net said this was because the capacitors on the mobo still store power, even if the machine itself is off.

That being said, I'm guessing that because it is, in fact, working, it's probably fine.
