My guess, never, they aren't going to rework a card that is a year old to add an useless feature to it.

Yeah... I agree. I think it makes more sense to do a 8900 but doesn't look like thats going to happen either. But who knows. Supposedly new cards are arriving in Feburary.

Don't think a PCIe 2.0 8800s will be released. The next gen 9xxxx will have PCIe 2.0

Unless an G92 8800GTX 1Gb comes out, which isn't impossible. Clock speeds of 750Mhz sounds nice Other than that, I also don't think there will be one...
