My latest build will consits of the new Q9450, most likely an X38 mobo, and either an 8800GTS 512, or a new 9800GX2 if they ever do release.

My question is which 2x2gb pair of ddr2 memory would be best for my setup, what are your recommendations, etc?

I'll be looking to OC my processor to roughly 3.5GHz, but since I don't have it yet I'm just pulling that number out of my ass.

I've checked out a few of the Corsair 2x2gb ddr800 pairs, the OCZ SLI ready pairs, OCZ platinum, OCZ reapers, and a set from Mushkin. Timings are generally 5-5-5-18 which is fine, but which is best for stable OC'ing in your experience? (also, is the OCZ SLI memory worth the price they're asking?)

Thanks for the input.

I'm looking for the same thing. I know Geil has 2x2GB DDR2 PC2-8500 kits but that's all I've found so far. Geil also makes (or will make) a kit with 4x2gb but I don't think it's being sold yet.

I'm building a system with Windows Vista Business 64-bit and want 8GB of memory for VMWare workstation, for work, but at faster than PC2-6400 speeds, for after work. :D
