Will my Asus 945p Motherboard support the new cpu i just bought? (e6850 775) I turned on my comp after installing the CPU(kept my old fan do to a horrid fan design by Intel) and it wouldn't boot at all. I cant seem to find a site that shows what motherboards are compatible with what CPU's. I looked at my CPU info and it showed that it supports Dual core 2 Duos, but the e6850 has a fsb of 1333, while the specs for the motherboard showed the CPU fsb at 1066 I believe... PLZ SAY I RECEIVED A DEAD CPU AND THATS ALL!

I'm sorry, but it looks like your 945P does not support E6850. It may support the older versions of Core 2 (1066Mhz), but not the newer ones.
For 1333Mhz CPU support, you might want to get a 965P or above.
