Which one of these two graphics cards would be faster/better? One is an x8 AGP GeForce Ti4200 from MSI, the second is a PCI ATi Radeon 9250 from Sapphire:

MSI AGP GeForce Ti4200-VTD8X:

Sapphire PCI ATi Radeon 9250:

I've looked at both specs but the terms/details are so different I dont see how to compare them, or maybe I'm missing something?

I'll use the chosen (better) card on an Asus P5PE-VM mobo with an Intel P4 3Ghz, 1GB RAM, mainly for regular apps (office/web/downloads) and movie playback - no gaming on this PC. This will be connected to a 20" high-rec LCD, and possibly also to a second display (LCD TV 26" or 32") in clone mode.

I still use a GeForce 4 in my second box, and it works fine for everything I use it for, which looks consistent with what you are looking to do. It has been great for 4-5 years (not exactly sure on the timeline). I would choose the AGP over PCI regardless, if the price is similiar.

Thanx Mint... I've already GOT both cards though... I'm not buying (well not anymore I spent a small fortune already on a new rig :)  )
