I'm fairly sure I already know the answer just wanted to check with you guys:
-If I buy an OEM HDD, I'll need to get a male-male SATA cable

Yes, you'll need to buy one separately.

k, and what about the power cable?

Power is provide directly from the power supply.

You might need a power cable adapter only if your power supply doesn't have any power plug available (a splitter) or if it has only molex type and your HD require sata power type connector (molex-sata adapter).
