Restoring factory settings for toshiba l300d 12l

lost my windows vista on my laptop how would i get it back

restart your computer & hold down "0" for three seconds when the splash screen apears, or when the toshiba logo comes up at startup before windows trys to start. This should bring up the toshiba recovery wizard which will allow you to re-install windows. Or if you recieved a recovery disk, insert it into your computer and restart it, then go into bios and change the boot order to cd/dvd drive first and save it then exit. push any key when it says "push any key to boot from disk" and just follow the on screen instructions from there.
