Overclocking/Reduce timings of Value RAM modules

Hi,

I have 4x Kingston 800MHz/1GB RAM modules with timings 5-5-5-15. If I reduce these timings the modules will overheat since they don't have heat spreaders on them. So what I'm planing to do is, buy third party heat spreaders and attach them to my modules with AS5. Please comment on this effort. It may sound stupid for some, but performance RAM modules cost more than double the price of a value RAM pair where I live.

No.. I have a C2D E6550 @2.8GHz which runs 1:1 FSB:RAM.
