I just attempted to install a new SATA DVD player and am getting this message saying

the BIOS does not find proper hardware configuration

My motherboard has 2 SATA ports, I'm not running a raid (though I don't think I can with this mobo anyways).

Any thoughts? I guess it isn't that big of a deal I can just get another non sata dvd player later today.
