So I just got the Swift tech Ultra water cooling kit, and I went to think about how to install it in my case, which is a Antec P182, beautiful case with lots of good things in it BUT it is just too small. To get the water cooling kit in I would need to remove my extra hard drives and mess with so much stuff it would just be nasty.

SO I am after a new case, with the two main aims:
1) I want build quality and size.

2) Secondly it would be even better if it was designed to be used with water cooling.

Cost not really an option. So opinions people?

Do you want internal radiators? or external?
How much do you want to mod the case to get it all in?

Damo, head over to OC Forums and xtreme forums and spend a few days looking at the thousands of case mods there. You'll find what your looking for plus tons of real WC info.

Minimal Modding, outside is fine with me. I really like my P182 but size is just too small.
P190 is an alternative but I dont want or need another power supply.

My SILVERSTONE Black Aluminum Crown Series CW02B-MXR ATX Media Center has two rubberized holes for sticking watercooling tubes into the case.

Very nice & solid HTPC case if you are willing to pay the $400 price tag.

I don't have watercooling, I simply use aircooling.

Whats the Lian Li like if I wanted to install the radiator on the outside? i.e. do I need to drill a hole in the case to get the tubes going in. Seems a tad pointless to buy a nice case like that then start drilling holes all through it.

if you look at the pic of the lian li there are a couple of holes in the back for WC
another option is the antec 900 (g2 ) i have this case and im happy with it but it is 1 or 2 inches to short for my cable managment

also there is a MASSIVE thermatake case that has built in water cooling not cheap but its all ready to go in one box

Personally I am looking at the Zalman Z-Machine LQ1000.

It will come avalable on the market in about a month, but I have to admit that is is really expensive (€500 or something along those lines).

It is basically a Z-Machine GT1000 with a Resonator XT build in. :)

Zalman Z-Machine LQ1000.
for a case like that you'd need a hell of a lot of good kit in side, thats one nice looking case

You could always take a look at the Danger Den Water Box Plus:

Gigabyte Aurora; I use it, works well. Has those nice grommeted holes for tubing, made of aluminum and light, 2x120mm fans and room for external 2x120mm radiator on the outside.

Cooler Master cosmos either the S or the 1000. Personally I like the 1000. you can fit a dual 120mm radiator up top. I believe the S will take a tripple 120mm radiator. both cases large and built solid.
