New build; quick check needed.

I just finished assembling a new build for my friend (midrange, little gaming, mostly working (CAD)) and wonder if I forgot anything or messed something up...

2 X 1GB Patriot DDR2 800MHz PC6400
XFX 8600GTS, 256MB
Thermaltake Toughpower 600W
Viper Midi case

I would say go with nothing below 8800gt !!!

switch the E6600 for the E6550 or E6750. (or Q6600)

E6750 sounds reasonnable...

And for the GFX; I'm on a tight budget and can't get a 1950...

e6550 or e6750 is newer and cheaper than a e6600. I'd get a 3850 GPU, since the e6550 will save you about $65 in savings. You won't regret getting the 3850 over the 8600gts!
