He wants to know if he should get this 8800gt. Or another one.

Gigabyte - cheaper, clocked higher, runs cooler and quieter with the Zalman fan.

EVGA: lifetime warranty, and step-up program.

Pick a different PSU as well. OCZ or PC Power and Cooling. Great PSUs good price. PSU is really the most important component in your system.

Youd be better off with new PSU as Thanatos mentioned OCZ PCP&C even Antec, Thermaltake, Seasonic Corsair something about 500W with good 12v rails...

If you live in the states go the eVGA for lifetimewarranty and step-up,,, If you dont live in the states go for Gigabyte.

I also recommend the EVGA, and in three months the 9800 series should be out - which will hopefully push down 8800GTS 512MB prices and you can Step-Up without to much spending.
