Brain.... hurts... too many numbers/letters... argh... I can't tell which one to get... Too many... opinions.... argh....

Please help.

I was thinking of this... but hell, that's just a stab in the dark. I just can't figure out what all of them do, and why... So many letters, making so many combinations.

Thanks in advance.

get a gigabyte ds3 or ds4 series. maybe doesn't work so much for 'best' but it's ridiculously good for the price.

I'm going for the Asus Maximus Formula with the Q6600 pretty soon.
If you are interested in what it can do with the Q6600 - this link is pretty good with plenty of pictures too.

Good for overclocking. Lights tell you about the correct voltages etc. Good reviews. Simple to setup. X38 compatible. DDR2 cheap memory. 2 x 16 for dual ATI graphic cards. (each card runs at full x16 speed) (I'm looking to get 2 x the latest ATI cards when they come out.) Or you can of course have simply one card - ati or nvidia. etc.

Comes with a few little extras.

Check the review. Good luck.
