I have the following configuration:
P4 3.2GHz + Intel D915PGN
2 x 512MB DDR PC-400, 1 x 1GB DDR PC-400
1 x SATA HDD 7200rpm
1 x DVD+RW-drive
GF 6600

There's Seasonic's SS-300FT powering all this (the table on the side of it says +12V: 18A and 200W (46A) Max).

My question is what kind of a graphics card I can get to work with this configuration, or is the GF6600 already as powerful as possible? I'm not hoping to use GF8800 series or similar, but was thinking that could it be possible to use, say, the X850 series or the GF7600 series.

I've done some searching and I've understood that Seasonic's supplies are usually among the quality PSUs, but that's about all I understand about these things. I guess you answer similar questions all the time, so I apologize that you're being bugged once again.

Thanks for your help!

i ran an x800gto with an antec 350watt psu once....worked fine untill the psu blew up after a few months. So yes you would be able to run one of those cards, eihter an x850 or a gf7600 series but dont expect miracles as to how long your psu will last for.
