So I am doing my last minute shopping list for Boxing Day (Canada) :D and there are quite some interesting cards on rebate and I need some help deciding which one to choose.

329.99 CAD = XFX GeForce 8800GTS 512MB PCIE Video Card - Alpha Dog Edition

249.99 CAD = EVGA e-GeForce 8800GT 512MB PCI-Express Video Card
http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/p [...] 590&catid=

249.99 CAD = BFG GeForce 8800 GT 512MB PCIe Video Card
http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/p [...] 083&catid=

I am going for a custom built PC with SLI (2 cards)
At first I wanted the GT 512 because it's cheaper but I also want the GTS 512 because it's slightly more powerful and operates much cooler and more quiet. I don't know anymore!!! :pt1cable:

So far on retail, the cheapest GT 512 I've seen is 300 CAD and cheapest GTS 512 is about 400 CAD.

Links do not work anymore. I am also planning to buy a new card because I have a 8600 GT.

Go with your hearts desire, it's Christmas. I should have bought something nice for myself, but I spend 300$ trying to win ski-doo tundra and I lost. Do not let this happen to you and buy something nice you can all enjoy.

I would go with that EVGA 8800GT and then step up in February (hopefully when the 9800 is release) and just pay the difference. :D

I would to the dual 8800GTS 512MB ... that's a good price. I have dual BFG 8800GT OC's and yep they are loud and hot under load.
