What Mobo are best for non SLi?

Hi guys.. im new here... Gotta start a new build for my comp... Getting Q6600 Processor, Asus En8800Gts but im not planning on SLi it, is there still any decent mobo in the market that dont run SLi but can perform well? I cant really find any new ones through websites... Hope you guys can give me some opnion and some examples of good decent mobo's that dont run Sli.... thx :ouch:

Gigabyte P35 DS3L is a very good board. If you need a lot of features on the board, e.g., firewire, eSATA, 6 SATA connectors, you're likely to have to get a board with 2 PCIe x16 slots but you don't have to use 2 GPUs, e.g., the ASUS P5K E another P35 mobo.

Haven't compared the DS3R and P5K E but I think the latter may have a few more features like eSATA but not sure. Best to compare boards on newegg for features. Not sure of RAID capabilities

And btw thr is another question i want to ask... Im planing to run just graphic card... For example if i bought a board designed for CrossFire can i use just 1 Nvidia card?

Yes, you can run one nVidia card on a board designed for Crossfire.
