I have a Biostar NF4UL-A9 and it has a SPDIF output, but it didn't come with the bracket or wire for it. Where can I purchase one of these?

There is a diagram on page 16 of the manual: ftp://ftp.biostar-usa.com/manuals/NF4UL-A9/NF4ULA9manua...

I just want to purchase the correct part and neither Biostar's manuals nor website tell you what part to look for.

You probably want to call Biostar support and tell them the bracket was missing from the box.

It wasn't supposed to come with it. I just want to know which one I can buy.

I would like to necro this article. I need to find an answer to this as this to be an issue with the new z77 mobos from biostar. I would much rather use toslink then a 3.5mm jack to rca for my sound. ebay ive seen 4 pin connectors that contain toslink and coaxial connections(perfect for me), this however is a 3 pin with a special plastic fitting on top. I need to figure this out before making the purchase. watched pauls(newegg) overview and this is what I observed.

I ended up buying a new sound card. I don't have that motherboard anymore.

im curious though, if a particular mobo advertises say..."thx pro" though the onboard audio. using a soundcard would bypass such techknowledgy and the sound would be proccessed through the soundcard only? im just trying to assess weither purchasing a soundcard and mobo that has "thx audio" be counter productive

an expantion bracket /w 3 pin spdif onboard connecter would be cheaper then a new soundcard, so if all possible that would still be a better choice for me.
