Overclocking laptop

Does anyone know any good overclocking utilities for laptops?

I have a Compaq presario 2800 series (Intel P4 Mobile 1.6ghz)

The BIOS is way too restrictive, so the only option is through software apps.

(I am aware that OC'ing laptops isn't a good idea due to heat buildup, but I;m trying to squeeze a few more months of use out of an aging 4 year old laptop)

If you have a laptop meant for overclocking (ie, the Dell XPS M1730) then its a breeze. ...if you don't, its a nice dream.

Overclocking a Cpmpaq presario is not going to happen.

So I can't overclock at all?

I'm not looking for a hardcore 25%+ overclock, maybe just up 0.1ghz or so.

No. 100Mhz isn't really going to make much difference anyway. It probably wont even be noticeable. Get some more RAM or a faster HDD.
