After looking at many different MB i just dont know which one to buy. Other components are, Intel Core 2 Duo E2140 or Athlon 64 X2 4000+, 2x1GB Geil ultra dual @800MHz, WD160AAJS, Palit 2600pro/xt sonic 256 DDR3.

 

So i need cheap suggestions, one up to 60e and other one to 75e, for each procesor.

 

And which one would be better to chose, Intel or AMD?

Definitely go for E2140 + a good motherboard like GIGAYBTE P35 DS3L

Agree with the E2140. This Gigabyte is $70. It will work but DS3L is definitely work the money but if this is just for running Office apps, internet stuff and you don't plan to upgrade to a higher end CPU it will work the P31 will work

yea i want to get this motherboard by msi its the K9N4 SLI-F AM2 NVIDIA nForce 500 SLI.is it worth it?if anyone has any suggestions respond back thanks

I am going to use it for playing Pirates of the Burning Sea and Oblivion. And instead of 2600 i am planing to buy 8600GT sonic+ or if i get more money one of ati's 3850.
