i have been trying to install the crysis fotfix from ati for a while now and i cant seem to get it to install. it keeps coming up with Data.size() != 3 error. i hit ok and it then comes up with setup failed to run installation: (0x80040707) . is there anyway to bypass the installing app (if it is the app) and manually install just the display drivers?

Specs are

Phenom 9600 @ 2.7ghz
4x1 gig corsair xms2 ddr800 @ 1000mhz 5-5-5-15
Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe Bios version 0701
2900xt 1gig ddr4 @ 865mhz core 1125mhz mem
Windows xp SP2 all updates as of current
7.12 cat drivers

thanks for any help

i dont know what is the problem. but usually u should disable any antivirus before installing drivers. specially graphics drivers.

I'd blame it on gremlings, they get crazy sometimes and go on a sugar-fueled rampage through unsuspecting people's PCs.
