BFG 8800 GTS OC2 TV out

hi im considering trying to conect my pc to my rather old tv. my tv has a 4 pin s-video socket and 3 RCN sockets but my graphics card BFG 8800gts oc2 has a 7 pin s-video socket. now I have seen things like this and this and im just wondering if they will work or not.

Yes I don't see why the splitters wouldn't work I just wouldn't recommend doing it with such a nice graphics card, it would kind of be putting it to waste and I don't think a TV will do the proper resolutions. May be worth a try though.
