any way to tell what kinda video card the RadeonX300/X550/X1050 series is if its good for my games or jest bearly geting by ?

That asrock board has intel 950 onboard graphics if you are trying to run that on ATI drivers you are in trouble. If you have a dedicated GPU why don't you pull it out and find out the specs of it, if it is one of the ati cards you mention it is little better than the onboard solution but all of them are not considered gaming cards.

Hey Roadrunner, how about you quit spamming threads and linking to your POS system build auctions on eBay?

If people are posting here they will know enough about building computers, or are trying to know enough, that they aren't going to waste money on your crap.

this thread is very confusing.......what are we talking about?
It sounds as though his video is not up to the task of running this game!
First off, can you post a "sytem info" snapshot of your computers?

First, make sure you have the latest version of Direct X9 (9.0c)...

Second (and this is what will probably fix your issue) COMPLETELY UNINSTALL the ATi Drivers, and UNINSTALL THE CCC (Catalyst Control Center)!!!!! DO NOT FORGET TO REMOVE THE CATALYST CONTROL CENTER!!

Third, restart your computer

Fourth, go to http://ati.amd.com and download the newest drivers for your card, and install them...

Fifth, Restart your computer again...

Should be good to go now...
