Vista Doesn't show new HD

Hey
I've just bought a new HD and installed it.
My Bios seems to recognize it, so does device manager but somehow the new drive doesn't show up in my computer ..
The first HD (WD 500Gb) is connected to Sata 2 port and the second one to Sata 3

System specs:
Vista Ultimate
Asus Maximus II Formula
Ati HD4850
Corsair 4Gb 800Mhz
Q6600 @2.4Ghz
Corsair 750w PSU

Right click on my computer - select manage - go to Disk Management and set the partition of the harddisk then format it, assign a drive letter and you're good to go.
