7950 gx2 troubleshooting

so i got a 7950gx2 as a birthday present the other day, and it just doesnt seem like both cards are being detected. i run a single slot Mach Speed motherboard, no option in bios for SLI, turned SLI on in nvidia control panel, both cards have a IRQ (18 and 19). but my 3DMark 06 only hits 15-30FPS in the first test (which from what i read it should hit 30 at the lowest point). any ideas to check and double check to see if the 2nd card is fully running and what i can do to get it running?

Ask the Nvidia guys at nvidia support.

I think its a dirver issue.

i have that card, and i could only get it to work with a Beta driver, that i had to hunt down on the internet, the beta driver detected both of the cards and allowed me to play cod4 at 50fps with no shadows 1280x1024 everything high, no shadows, it cant handle shadows. when i got the updated driver, with now shadows no aa no nothing, at 1280x1024 it was 10-29fps, seems like half? but beta driver would not exceed or drop from 50 fps, it was weird.

my solution was to buy 2 8800GT 512mb and sell the card to someone who had a motherboard that supported it. problem solved.
