I want to get a TFT monitor however I'm concerned about the quality of a VGA connection.

So I want to upgrade the card to have both DVI and VGA (in case I need to plug an old monitor in).

Now I'm not too clued up on this sort of thing so here goes...

P4 2.66Ghz
768 RAM
GF4 Ti4200

I'm not sure what AGP is, whether my card is AGP 2x 8x or whatever.

What are my options? I don't do gaming much, mayeb the occasional HL2, CS and GTA SA. But I really like to watch DVDs on it.

thanks in advance.

x1650pro and geforce7600gs support AGP 4x and 8x they would be a nice cheap upgrade.

Thanks for the quick reply.

So it comes with 4x and 8x on the same board? How do I know if my board is 4x or 8x?

These will definately work on my machine, is there anything else I need to be aware of?
