mobo clearance on xigmatek hdt-s1283 and hdt-sd964 the same?

Damn, I got my xigmatek hdt-s1283 and apparently i overestimated my case depth by a bit. This thing is just too tall. I've checked the dimensions on the hdt-sd964, and that one will definitely fit. The s1283 had adequate clearance for my ram and northbridge cooler, so if the sd964 has the same clearance and just has less height on the aluminum fin portion, then that would be great. Anyone know if that's the case? Or can anyone attest to the sd964 having adequate clearance on aGigabyte GA-EP35-DS3R?
