Hello, I have a Toshiba with a Matshita DVD RAM UJ-850S ATA Device, and It shows up in my computer, its not disabled and it will read recovery disc's but, It wont read any other kind of discs. i'v ran Mr. fixit and it said the media on the disc isnt readable, but thats for any disc i put in the laptop.

Do you have auto play disabled (turned off) ?

No, its on. even when i go to My Computer and click on the drive, it wont play the disc.
