No audio device problem

The computer was fine last night. Turned it on today and it decided to have no audio.
-i can't roll back the audio driver
-i've reinstalled the device

it's still not playing or showing that theres a device installed! I have the Realtek audio alc655 ac '97

double check your connections, If that doesn't work use windows system restore using a restore point for a recovery
