Adobe Illustrator CS3 clicking sound when scrolling

The clicking sound has nothing to do with the hard drive or cables. The sound is the Windows sound and is called Default Beep. Basically I can hear it on every step of the scroll. Everything else works just fine. This only happens in the Illustrator. I have Windows XP Professional.

click my computer
click control panel
click sounds and audio devices
click the sounds tab
you can set the sound for default beep, or select "none"
click default beep on the list, highlight blue
select sound (none)
click apply, click OK, close window, restart computer

I was able to fix the problem by installing all new drivers for my Logitech Mouse and Keyboard combo.
