As stated in the tittle I have two 8800gts on the way, and I wanted to know if my powersupply would be sufficent.
I have an apevia 680 watt psu, with 12v1 @ 22amps and 12v2 @24amps. Since 1 card requires 24, and in SLi requires 26amps, will I have enough juice? I know you can't rawly add amps together, but I don't know how SLi splits the power or shares it. An indepth answer would be nice, as I also find the ratings to be interesting.

I believe the 8800gt only has 1 6pin connector, and in this respect my current PSU would provide more power than the one montioned above...
Unless someone can explain why, which is really what i'm lookin' for.

<_<
Seriously, am I missing something?

(8800gt ratings off of evga)
Minimum of a 400 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 22 Amp Amps.)
Minimum 450 Watt for SLI mode system.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 24 Amp Amps.)

I put in my 12v1 line to card 1, it gets the 24 amps, i put my 12v2 into card 2, and I should arrive at almost double the recommended 26 amps for SLi...
