thermal sensor help?

hi i am going to be upgrading my 1st pc and though my antec p160( http://www.bjorn3d.com/read.php?cID=379 ) case came with 2 thermal sensors that read out on the digital display on the front of the case i never used them before. i would like to use them this time around. my 1st question was where are the 1 best places to put them, i was thinking cpu and vga(i might want to oc w/ stock fan) and also i have no clue how to place them and what to do. all help would be appreciated thanks.

First, do not place them between your cpu and heatsink, or your gpu and it's heatsink. Believe it or not some people have and of course this burnt up their chips. Just place them close to the heatsinks. These things are for show, if you want a better temp gauge of your cpu and gpu download Speedfan.
