Hey all,

Right now I have a 8800 gts 640. Iam thinking about getting a new ps and running 2 3870's Now my cpu is a E6850 3 Ghz oc to 3.5.

I just want to know that the problems I am having with crysis will get better with the 3870's and that even though my cpu is not $1000 quad core that my 6850 isn't a bottleneck.

First off, CPU bottlenecking the graphics card is pretty much a complete myth when using almost any newer (1-2 years old) dual core processor. The only time bottlenecking might occur is if you run your resolution at less than 12X10, which i imagine you do not.

Yes, crossfire with 3870s should do you wonders in Crysis.

The only thing that will help Crysis is their patch and they're saying that might not help much.
