Will this fan do the job of cooling my CPU to overclock it? Some of the newegg reviews said that people have, but im not sure how much i am into testimonials. Any incite on this?

the stiker is toug mobo on cpu coolers

i think the thermal right ultra-120 or zalman fits 9700 - i forgot

i do remember i did have issues with heat sinks with all the heatpipe and fins

i have this one on my striker and it also helps cool the heatsink on the mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835106102

all i did was face the exhaust out in the back of the case and it does the rest..

To answer my own question. The Zhalman BTF90, does not fit into the asus striker extreme motherboard. But it does when you ben the fins up or down about 20-30' degrees. It is cooling my cpu very well but i have not tried overclocking. If you do install this though make sure you place the special back plate on the bottom of the motherboard... I did not and now i have to take the whole thing apart tonight! The directions seem to start on the right page but they don't. Haha, I was going to quick... sanding the fins did not seem to work all that well and melting them seems like it would cause the fins to melt because the middle of the fin is thick.

ps, you can also pop out the asus striker copper cooling pipes there are videos of this online
