Hey guys.

Just about to buy a new HSF and thermal solution for my build. I have a m-ATX mini tower (see sig), so it has to be a ~13cm or shorter HSF.

I am currently looking at getting a Xigmatek XP-S964 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233005 and Arctic Cooling MX-2 thermal compund http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186020 for my Q6600, which I will then overclock to ~3.3 GHz.

Could I get a better cooler/compund combo for the price? Just be sure the HSF is small enough to fit in my case (it should be ~13cm tall and ~10cm wide - which, unfortunately, rules out the HDT-S1283).

Any input is greatly appreciated!

A better cooler at that price nope. There is a cooler similar to it, the arctic cooling freezer 7 pro, but it will also depend on air circulation in the case.
