am planning to get new pc:
asus maximus formula x38
intel q6600
kingston 2x1GB 1066 MHz DDR2 (or maybe 3x1GB)
and...

seagate barracuda 7200.11 1 TB SATA2 32 MB cache
seagate barracuda 7200.11 500 GB SATA2 32 MB cache

would asus formula support the 32 MB cache, or would it be an overkill?

also, can I get any EATX case??
I am planning to get a cooler arctic freezer 7 pro - do I need any other cooler, fan?? or how would this affect the case I'm to buy?? or vice versa..??

what power source should I use??

32mb 16mb or 8mb cache has no bearing on the motherboard you use. It is all hard disk internal so no issues there.

I believe getting 3x500gb would be cheaper?

eatx cases there are a few good ones around Lian Li A70 will do it Thermaltake Armour. coolermaster stacker series. Silverstone TJ09 and 10
