Usb not reconize for my Kodak printer

Hello,
Vista does not reconize my Kodak printer. It is plugged und ready. I have replugged in different usb ports, but it will not do anything. This just happened. I have had this printer for just over a year. What do I do?

Try updaating printer drivers in device manager

Hi this is what I did when my computer did not recognize my usb ports. Turn off your computer then unplug the electrical cord from the electrical sucket. Wait one minute and replug the electrical cord, turn on your computer and viola your vista will now be able to recognize your printer. Unplugging the connection from the electrical sucket on your wall will reset your computer to its default settings.
