It's normal. I remember with my 7900GTs, I though my PC was going to lift off.

It freaked me out when I heard it on my 3850.

Anyways, we had a LAN party at my house last night. My friend, whom has my old computer, sat his computer next to mine. It sounded like a rocket engine compared to my computer. In fact, my laptop is almost louder than my main computer.
