Just wondering. If I had a ATI gfx card and a NVIDIA chipset would it reduce the performance? If it does can I see some benchies?

No it won't. but some times depending on the chip set it could. (by about 2fps ;) )

No, ATi and nVidia know better than to cripple competing cards on their chipsets. You'll be fine. If you want to run CrossFire or SLi on the other hand...
