Just wondering. If I had a ATI gfx card and a NVIDIA chipset would it reduce the performance? If it does can I see some benchies?

No it won't. but some times depending on the chip set it could. (by about 2fps ;) )

no, it won't, try looking back through some of the toms articles, they did a test a few months back.

No, ATi and nVidia know better than to cripple competing cards on their chipsets. You'll be fine. If you want to run CrossFire or SLi on the other hand...
