I was thinking the other day. When are we going to leave this # naming race and have a new name for todays graphics cards? We have had Geforce and Radeon for forever it seams. Before that we had the Voodoo, Banshee, Rage, TNT, Riva, Rush, Viper, etc.

You think they could have continued and changed the names back with the Geforce 3 since we moved past T&L which was the previous big thing, to the introduction of shaders.

Not like its really a bad thing, but I do remember when graphics cards were simpler. At the time they did much less but now with the introduction of Physics being a possible player, I think it would be refreshing to get a whole new name for the next gen graphics cards.

Just my .02 for the day.

I dunno. Somebody should make an account called "IM0021" and ask why you're the worst performing model.
