Ok so I am about to but the D-link extreme N with rangeboost, however i think that you need a certain equivalent adapter to get the rangeboost?

I have an xbox 360 wireless adapter in my basement which is just wireless G.

So am i better off getting a G router with rangeboost, or N with rangeboost. Which one will serve me better for xbox live, and even as far as laptops go, which one will be better for them too?

Thanks a lot!

I would get an "N" router unless the "G" is really a bargin.

I'm not sure if the xbox can benefit from the rangeboost technology.
